Our Story
About Yono Games
Your trusted companion for finding verified, safe skill-based gaming apps. We test them so you can play with confidence.
Who We Are
Welcome to Yono Games. We are an independent directory and review site for the Yono-style rummy, teen patti, slots and spin apps that circulate in India. We explain what each app is, how to check its APK before installing it, and where it stands legally. We also publish rules and strategy guides for card games you can play for free.
Our Mission & Core Values
Hundreds of new gaming apps launch every month. Sorting the authentic ones from the rest is hard work. Our mission is simple: to give players clear, honest information about these apps, including the risks, so they can make safe decisions.
- Safety first: every review explains how to check the APK and which permissions to refuse, and links to our UPI fraud guide.
- Honest about the law: online money games have been prohibited in India since 1 May 2026, and every review says so plainly.
- Transparency: some download links are affiliate links, which is how the site is funded. They are marked as sponsored and never change what we write.
Our Editorial & Testing Process
Every app goes through the same four-step review, and we repeat it whenever a listing is refreshed.
- APK security scan: we check the installer for malware and for permissions the app has no reason to request.
- Game-mode documentation: we install the app on a test phone and record its formats, interface and any published fairness information.
- Legal status check: we state how the app is treated under the Online Gaming Act 2025 and its 2026 Rules.
- Safety notes: we add the checks a player should make before installing, and how to report fraud on 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.
A team of card-game writers and Android security researchers who install each app on a test phone, inspect its permissions and document how it works.
Who does the reviewing
Reviews are a team effort rather than one person's byline, so content here is credited to the Yono Games Editorial Team. These are the roles behind every listing:
- APK Security Analyst: Scans every installer for malware and over-broad Android permissions.
- Gameplay Reviewer: Installs each app on a test phone and documents its game modes, interface and published fairness information.
- Rules & Guides Writer: Writes the rummy, teen patti, ludo and call break rules guides and checks each app's game modes against them.
- Compliance Editor: Keeps legal information current, including the Online Gaming Act 2025 and its 2026 Rules.

Legal Compliance
We strongly advocate responsible gaming. Yono Games is an informational directory. We do not host or operate any real-money game. Since 1 May 2026, the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 prohibits online money games in India, whether based on skill, chance or both. Always check the law that applies to you.
